Spices bazaar

I’ve always wanted to try cooking Indian. I had gone so far as to buy an entire cookbook on Indian cuisine some 6 years ago, but chickened out because I was overwhelmed by the myriad of spices required. Besides, I was living at home at the time, and didn’t think mum would have appreciated the funky smelling spices that are the essence of Indian cooking.

So it wasn’t until 6 years later that I finally plucked up the courage to cook Indian food, complete with my own set of spices from the local Indian grocery store.

Having experimented with vegetables, I am going to venture into lentils and meats 🙂
